Matthew 24:

14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Paul in his writings confirms that that “prophecy” had been fulfilled and that he could write to the Romans and Colossians that the gospel- the Good News of the kingdom had been made known “to the whole world”.
See Romans 10:18; 16:26; Colossians 1:5-6 and 23. 
The time or era when Jerusalem would be the hub or centre of “Spiritual” truth would come to an end when the “gospel” had been shared abroad, and when the Romans sacked Jerusalem in 70 AD the “end” came, but the testimony and witness or “the kingdom of God/heaven” continued to go forth as the “yeast in the dough” and the “mustard seed growing into a “tree” to shelter the birds.

    So was that to all the then-known world? Much smaller a territory then than to the whole earth as mankind has come to know it now. So, if the end came when Jerusalem was destroyed, we've all been living in the end times? Too many questions and unknowns for me to understand. My mind gets so boggled.
