KINGDOM KONCEPTS Matthew 18:23

Matthew 18:

23

“Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.

The parable of the unmerciful servant. We MUST forgive as we have been forgiven. ?

Un-forgiveness of others may “cancel our forgiveness.

  1. This passage is put very strongly and straight to the point regarding the need for unconditional forgiveness in our hearts toward others just as God has forgiven us. I can't see any room for a question on the matter there. I guess those who refuse to forgive an offence must feel they've been sinned against even more grievously than the total wickedness of mankind has offended our Holy, Almighty God. Because God so loved us, He forgives, and it will take our being filled with God's love to likewise forgive others.
Strong teaching here seems to me.
