When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path.

The “good seed”, but sown ‘in the wrong place’ or carelessly by the sower?  No fault of the soil/recipient. He does not understand it and therefore the evil one snatches it away.
Is not the onus therefore on the sower to (i) prepare the soil and/or the seed so the hearer understands?  OR don’t sow it at all in that place?  Did Jesus spread the seed to all soils     or only on well prepared soil? Apparently in telling parables he was casting the seed in all places, and letting the responses of the hearers indicate whether or not they understood or wanted to understand. i.e Seek the kingdom.

    Thanks for your take on this. Because we finite humans can't possibly know who will and who won't be seeking the Kingdom, and therefore be ready to hear and drink in and understand spiritual truths, it would seem right to sew God's Word everywhere we go, by word and walk, and follow it up with prayer.
